Any employee subject to Part II of the Code (122 – PART II – Occupational Health and Safety) has the right to refuse dangerous work as long as they have reasonable cause to believe that it presents a danger. Specifically the Code states that an employee may refuse in the following circumstances:
The Code contains certain exceptions regarding the right to refuse dangerous work. These exceptions include: if the refusal puts the life, health or safety of another person directly in danger; or, the danger in question is a normal condition of employment.

- The name of the manager(s) you report the incident to and the date & time.
- Location of the incident (Airport doorway# or specific room location within the terminal)
- Other witness (AC employee, GTAA personnel, maintenance, firefighters, police etc…) and their name if possible.
- Description of the incident (broken equipment or damage building structures, unknown toxic fumes etc..)
- Did anyone get hurt?
- What action were taken by the manger(s) on duty to resolve the matter?
