PAY PROGRESSION:
If you were layoff and/or on a certain leave of absence for 30 days or more, your Company Service Date would be affected. The lost of CS Date would negatively impact your wage progression, vacation entitlement and pensionable earnings. Usually HR is quick on calculating the adjustment and would send an email for the CS Date adjustment but during the pandemic the company can not process the volume of work.
The local union office has created a form to calculate your new CS Date (Company Service / Anniversary Pay Date). Please download both files below to start. If you have any trouble, please drop by the union office for additional help.
Special Note: Shift/vacation bid, boarding a plane or anniversary celebration is base on your DOJ (Date Of Joining) Seniority.
